KY water-based
I bout the KY water-based lubricant today. Do you think it will help/aid in sperm swimming or being able to swim to the egg? Pre-seed does not sell in my country.
It says in red on the box that it is not a contraceptive and does not contain a spermicide. So the sperms should be fine then right? Sometimes I get dry and my mucus may be too hostile, maybe that's contributing to me not conceiving. What are your thoughts? It would be greatly appreciated.

I totally agree with NikkiCC, everything I have heard and read is that all the lubrications on the market like KY and even Astroglide slow down the sperm and can make it much more difficult to get pregnant. The only one that doesn't is PreSeed. If you totally cannot get it in your country, canola oil and egg whites are safe as a lubricant and have no detrimental effects on the sperm.
Well I actually have great mucus. However, I do use preseed to increase my chances of conceiving. I've had 3 pregnancies and preseed got me pregnant 1st cycle ttc every single time. Its great stuff.
Now I do know that KY "WILL" hurt sperm. No matter if it is water based or not. The only lubricants that you can use that won't hurt sperm are the ones that specifically say that it won't hurt your chances conceiving. Even then you have to be careful and make sure it has been FDA approved because anyone can sell anything! Preseed is FDA and if you can't get it in your country then order it on the internet. I did a lot of looking around and the cheapest place to order on the internet is www.babyhopes.com. They also give you 2 free pregnancy tests and a cute little packet of baby dust. Now if you can't order anything from the internet than one other sperm safe lube that I know is FDA approved is Conceive Plus. That is sold on the internet as well, but you might be able to find that in your country! Hope I helped and seriously that preseed is a miracle worker!

CHECK OUT: "PRE-SEED" - IT HAS ENORMOUS SUPPORT. It best mimics human secretions and also contains a little glucose to help 'feed' the sperm right as they enter...
My gyn told me to use ASTROGLIDE. I did get pregnant using it once. I miscarried for other reasons but pregnancy is possible. I would not use too much. Even preseed, my doctor said to use very little if I have to.
