Hello! GOOD LUCK on friday! i have had a lap where they did a lot of work, but not a hysteroscopy.. though i had a chromotubation during my lab (essentially an HSG) it wasn't bad at all and an easy recovery.. the worst part is that it just feels like a toothache in your shoulder and neck when sitting in certain positions due to the air they put in your stomach to blow it up and get a better view (that didnt' sound good huh? ) but it rubs on the diaphram and gives referred pain like a toothache.. totally tolerable though! they did a lot of work on me (removed a large endometrioma and most of my left ovary) and recovery was easy, i want to say i went back to work after 4 days, but i have a very physical job, so that was a little too soon, after a full week i felt much better
as far as when you can start ttc.. as soon as you can bd you can, or if your doing IUI, they should let you start your cycle as soon as your first AF gets there.. thats how it was for me anyhow! GOOD LUCK i hope that this does the trick for yall! keep us updated!
Also, can I start trying to concieve right after the surgery or do I need to wait? Somebody told me that you had to go on Lupron to heal? Has anybody experienced this?
