Letrozole

Has anyone ever used Letrozole? Was it beneficial? Did you get a BFP? Any side effects?

letrazole + follistim worked for us several times (mc several times).. my RE really likes femara, i have severe endo so its also supposed to suppress the endo a little bit while other drugs like clomid can actually worsen endo.. i didnt have many side effects from it though, maybe a hot flash once or twice.. but it was a great combo the femara + follistim, its worked for a lot of girls on here! : )   GOOD LUCK to you all!!!! : )

I am going to try my first IUI cycle some time in June and Letrozole was what the doctor recommended in addition to follistum. He also stated he likes to do two inseminations......IUI is new to me, so I was a little confused with Letrozole and the two inseminations part....once again, thank you ladies.

Hey!! This is my third round of letrozole. 1st with an iui, 2nd with natural trying, 3rd with iui on may 2nd.  This is my last round of letrozole so I pray it worked.  Good luck!!!!

I used letrozole after 6 cycles of clomid didnt work.  I got a BFP and the second letrozole cycle ( with IUI ).  Good luck!

Hi there-

I used letrozole last cycle.  I had been using clomid, but my lining is very thin so my RE switched me.  It worked great for me.  On clomid I had 2 follies.  On letrozole I had 6!  I didn't get a BFP but it was bc my progesterone was too low.  I liked it much better than clomid-no side effects at all.  Good luck to you!
