leigh and everyone else.  thanks so much, i know i test too early but sometimes i just can't help it.  it was weird, yesterday and day before cervix felt a little dryer and low/hard.  this morning it is high, not super high where i can't reach it but high none the less....and feels like it is starting to soften.  idk.  cm is creamy to watery.  hope that is good sign.  i wake up with headaches every day, am always tired, bbs starting to hurt bad, well not sure if it is bbs or upper chest, but it hurts.  still having twinges like Opains....teenage acne and the other day when walking through Walmart, i accidently brushed right nip on something and it was like having porn star nipple...lol  so much more sensitive.  i am holding off to test again til tomorrow which should be around 10-11 dpo....if it didnt happen this month i am definately getting bbt next month...just to see EXACTLY when i O.

good luck to the rest of you....if my calculations are right i should have af between Sept 28-30 if she comes....PLEASE AF STAY AWAY

I went for bloodwork today and it is confirmed....BFP!!!!!!  I am still spotting brown, but the HPT tests are getting darker.  I go tomorrow to the RE for full bloodwork, I guess to check my hormone levels and stuff?  I can't help to be nervous from the spotting though.  I'm hoping it sticks.

joyce- don't over think things.  sometimes it takes longer for get a BFP.  it all depends on how long it takes the egg to travel to the uterus and implant.  some women it is fast and others it can take longer.  wait a day or 2 and test again.

michelleinhawaii- don;t freak out yet, that could be implanation bleeding which happens to lots of women.  watch it for a few more days and take one more test and let us all know asap.

mamatina- no giving up yet.  it happens when we least expect it.  keep that head high.  look we seem to be having some luck here.  lots of SSBD to you.

joyce- those are great signs.  keep us all posted.  you can def test in a few days.  i got my BFP at 9dpo but that is very early.  i also think it was because it is a boy and the boy sperm swim so much faster that things happen quicker.

vortex- yeah your appointment is tomorrow.  maybe they will give you an ultrasound?????  i am so excited that there is starting to seem like lots of movements on this forum.  all of us deserve it so much.

candie- i am happy with a mommy's boy.  i don;t know if i could handle a girl that hates mom for a few years.  girls are rough once they hit the teen years.

luvkayln- how are you?  hope all is well.

well my 18 week appointment went great.  i can not beleive it has been 18 weeks already. it seems like just yesterday i joined all of you wonderful ladies when i started with the RE.  everything with the baby measured awsome, his heart and all 4 chambers, his brain, his bones, his kidneys his stomach and his spine.  he showed his little boy parts again, they are not so little though.  i am going to try to post all the gerat pics i got, i think i have 9 all together to show you ladies.  i have the best one ever of his foot, you can see all his little toes.

leighanne:
All the best for your appt and keep us posted.

MamaTina:
Oops sorry about that. I removed it. All the best to you too. Wish you luck and SSBD. I could imagine about all the shot...ohh it should hurt you. Believe me, when it happens it is all worth it. Dont give up yet.

Joyce:
You are one POAS addict. 8dpo is way too early. When I got my thin line which was doubtful, I was 14dpo. You got to hold testing for atleast couple of days more.

Michelle:
Did you call the docs office. If not, do so and just get the hCG levels tested. I didnot have a spotting around AF time. So I am not sure about that part. But as Candie say there are lot of woman in the forum who are fine later. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

Candie:
I put a ? next to 2dpo. Let me know once it is confirmed. luvkayln is also unsure of O and she got her +OPK a while back. What is going on with the kits.

Good morning ladies.  Not sure what is going on with me.  Got a faint line on my OPK towards the end of last week, but couldn't test on Saturday.  Temp spiked Sunday morning, but now it was down again today (although I woke up early to pee, so maybe it was just off).  I'll see what happens, but am assuming I O'd on Sat.

Arloth - Take care of yourself and DH and take time to get prepared for the next round.  Sept is almost over already so Nov will be here before you know it!  Hope you didn't get to stressed with those Steelers yesterday - how awful!

Jessie - That is so sad about that poor girl's situation.  It is so sweet of you to offer to help, it sounds like she doesn't have many options.

luvkayln - How are you?  Any O signs yet?  Mine is being screwy this cycle too.  Ah, the nerve!  :)  Hopefully we'll both be OK.

leighanne - Congratulations!  I bet your DH is so excited to be having a boy.  Mamatina is right though, they usually are mommy's baby!  Hope your appointment goes well today.  Can't wait to see those new pics!

Stacey - So sorry dear for the BFN.  Has AF shown up yet?  I'm still hoping you'll be alright.

vortex - Hope all is well with school and hope your nausea continues to improve.  If you don't mind, keep counting me by cd, but you could put me at 2dpo today with a ? since I'm not sure what the heck is going on!

mamatina - I agree with your doctor - do not give up!  One of these days, it will all be worth it.  I'm sorry that your body is taking such a beating in the meantime though.

Michelle - OMG, could it be?!!!  I've seen a lot of women on this forum with spotting that turn out to be just fine, so try not to get too worried.  I would definitely be calling the doctor and getting some bloodwork ASAP!  Good luck!!!!!  Keep us posted.

So I tested last night and again this morning...I got a faint second line both times.  Th eonly thing is I have some brown spotting, like I get right before AF is going to come.  I am a nervous wreck.  has anyone else had spotting and continued on to get a BFP with a viable pregnancy?

joyce- a glass of wine will not hurt.

vortex- that is great that you are feelign better.  once you hit 12 plus weeks, it gets so much easier.  mine did not stop til about 14 weeks but now i feel real good and i have been getting a little more sleep which is great.  yeha my little bugger is an uncooperative boy.  i go in today for my 18 week check-up.  exciting!!!!!!

stacey- that's a bummber but maybe AF will not show her ugly face.  i know that with one of my pregnancies, it took almost a week after AF was due to get a BFP.

jessie- congrats on your pos OPK.

Thanks ladies for all your wishes. I had my first school submission today and was very busy last week all preparing for it. My nausea is getting better especially after stopping bromocriptine. But not totally disappeared though. Now I have them only in the morning which is good, because I can catch up the rest of the day with my food intake. I lost more than 3 pounds in 3 weeks because of this. Hope I will gain it soon.

joyce:
Happy Birthday to him. Enjoy your food. It sounds yummy.

Stacey:
Hang in there. Dont lose hope yet. It is not over until it is.

leighanne:
No wonder the baby was not co-operative the first time. You are going to have a one naughty boy I guess. Congratulations.

Arlotheslug:
Good to know that provera worked for you well. Take rest for the next month and relax well, so that your body is all set for Nov.

mommyin:
How are you doing?

leighanne143:  Congrats! I bet your DH is so excited!

ok I know I have a lot of non-fertility stuff on here but I just need some advice.  My kids, biological mother's little sister(15) already has a baby.  Since she is so young she cant find a job plus she is too young to even have a liecence. The babys daddy is in the picture but only works like 1 or 2 days a week and doesnt have the money to really help out.  She watches friends kids on the weekend sometimes and with that money she gets diapers and wipes/. That income isnt really reliable.  Her parents dont help her out financially and tell her that she needs to handle it on her own bc its her child.  In the begining they are the ones that talked her out of giving him up for adoption along with my kids biomom, by making her feel bad.  She is like the little sister I never had nad we try to help her out whenever possible but I feel so bad when she calls me crying about stuff. She is the only one that has ever called and checked on my kids regularly. she was the one that basically raised them when her sister had them.  I really want her to come live with us but I dont think her parents are going to go for it.  They wont even let her come stay with us for a week. Well they would if we let them have our kids(their biograndkids) for a weekend and Im not fixing to send my kids to someone that hasnt once called to check on them in almost a year, someone that doenst even take care of the baby that lives with them(thier other grandchild), and someone that use to never give them a bath or feed them right.  They just really make me mad.

Sorry for that.  I just really dont know what to do.  I am sure that DH and I are going to have to buy her and the baby winter clothing to make sure they have it bc no one over there will.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend and that we get out BFPs soon!

just a update...all is well so far, ended up with a false pos line, cause i waited too long to read it...ended up passing out before it was time to read it.  that is what i call disappointing..but i didnt tell anyone just took another test today and it was bfn which is what i was expecting. but i am only about 7 dpo so way to early to test yet....lol
but i have had several dreams which pushed me to test.  i think i am gonna wait til i am closer to af to buy anymore...as i am as big of a POAS addict as anyone else on here...lol

SSBD to all

I feel a little better now.  I still dont understand how I got a +OPK.  I think I am still going to take a HPT tomorrow morning and then another on next Saturday if AF hasnt arrived(if she shows on her own, it should be in the middle of next week). If both are negative I will wait until Oct. 7th to start another round of Provera and then Clomid when AF starts.

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Good morning ladies!

Sorry I haven't been on in a while. Super, super busy!! Anyway, here's my update. I got a +ve opk last Saturday, so I assumed I would have ovulated the next day. Well, I STILL haven't ovulated!!!  My temps went up on the 17th, but went right back down yesterday, and still down today. I'm at CD 23 today, and this is the day I ovulated last month, so HOPEFULLY i'll ovulate today! Fingers crossed! It's throwing me off as to why I got a +ve opk almost a week ago, and still haven't ovulated...  I haven't been testing anymore. I figure I'll just watch my temps until I finally do ovulate.

Mommyin09- I'm sorry af showed for you! :*(  I know you expected it, but it's still crappy when it does come. I'm having such a weird cycle this month, I don't really know what's going on, but I know i'll eventually ovulate! What's new, anything?

Candie- I see you're still waiting to ovulate. Maybe we'll end up being close this cycle! Good luck to you this round! :)

Stacey- Great news on your bw! It's always great to know you're "normal"!! :)  So i just had to tell you this. On my way to work this morning, they were talking about getting dogs adopted through the humane society. And guess who they're trying to get adopted right now? A puppy named Honey!! :)  I didn't hear what breed it was, but that made me think of you! :)  Hope you are doing well in your 2ww! Good luck!

Leighanne- Good luck tomorrow at your u/s! Hope your little one is being so rotten this time! :)
