2 day period for the last couple of months

I have been experiencing light and short periods my whole life, but always regular 28 days. I took birth control for about 3 years and have stopped using the nuva ring over a year ago. The last year was crazy, too short, too long, from 1 day bleeding to 5 days. Since a couple months now I am finally back to my 28 day cycle, however it is only like a day of normal flow and then more like spotting for 1-2 days.

I had a leep done last august and have no more cancer cells, thank god! But I still think this is not really normal. does anyone have any ideas about this? I'd like to hear them, thanx.

no, this is not normal for me, my period was always at least 3 days light-medium, and then a day of spotting, now its a day short, that cant be right...

i just want a little girl that looks like me, to much to ask?

Hi,

your short period could also be your normal.

I have always had very short periods.  Just 1 heavy day and then only a couple of days of very light / spotting.

I have 1 daughter, and after several miscarriages am pregnant again.

that is great thanx, i appreciate that, i'm gonna have to wait till later this year, till my insurance kicks in, i think that will be next month, and then i'll have to go and see, thanx :)

Your welcome.  I just think you need to start by ruling things out, ie: scarring, then you can start figuring out what is going on.  I am here for you if you need someone to bounce things off of : )

The reason I asked is because any burning or scraping of the uterine wall an cause scarring.   This could cause your periods to be abnormal.  If i were you, I would ask your doctor to preform a saline induced sonohystogram to rulenthis out.  This may be difficult to accomplish, but i would push until they did one.  The scaring I am talking about is called ashermans, please research it, and see if you fit the profile.

or wait, maybe its a loop? idk, its when they take a loop kinda thing heat it and scrape away the cancer cells from the walls inside...
