Low testosterone and pregnancy

My Husband has a testosterone level in the mid 300's.  He is 31 years old.  We are currently TTC.  I am worried that his low testosterone will cause us to not be able to have a baby.  I would like to know if anyone has conceived with low testosterone.

I'm sorry you haven't gotten any answers yet...I guess people on here are not that familiar with the effects of low testosterone. Unfortunately, I don't have much info either, but I would think his doctor/urologist/RE could prescribe something to help increase his levels.

Interestingly, I think clomid is one of the drugs that can help a man increase his progesterone levels...which is kinda ironic, since clomid's main purpose is to help increase the female hormones in women and induce ovulation.

Good luck to the two of you!

Thanks for your reply.  I actually talked to my gyne. and she said that we should be Ok. Even with a low amount of T.  he can still father a child.  I have irregular cycles so, if we don't have any luck in a year we will have to go to an infertility specialist...

Thanks for your well wishes.  Please keep hoping that we can conceive!!!
