Miscarriage with no explantion

I was just wondering, if anyone has had a late miscarriage and gotten no expaltion why it happened.  i miscarried at 20 weeks and mine was a missed micarriage and I had a d&c done.  The doctors did not know why it happened, is that normal and has anyone not known why they had one.  It just makes me feel like I did something and I get upset about it!

You can get pregnant as soon as you ovulate.  How far along were you?  I was 20 weeks and so I had a d&c done and my periods have beedn wacky.  i had a period 35 past the surgery and then 47 days past that period.  I am now gonna try again but I have to but ovulation test cause it is hard for me to know when I ovulate now that my cycles are messed up, i use to bee a 28 day girl.  But my doctor wanted to me wait 3 months before trying again and it has now been 3 months.  He wanted me to wait for emotional reasoning and for the lining in my uterus to get stronger I guess since I had the surgery.  But, I guess it depends on when you ovulate again and how far along you were when you lost your pregnancy, if you were far along like I was, you may want to wait a couple of moths.  good luck!!!

I never kept my temp while pregnant and do not really know much of that aspect, It could be implatation bleeding, since you are not to far along, sometimes women bleed at that time.  I know you may not want to go to the doctor, but it may ease your mind if you do.  you are early in the pregnancy so they prob. will not really see much on an ultrasound, but could do some blood work.  i hope all works out, let me know how it goes. Good Luck!!!

Thanks, just 4 weeks. The doctor did ask me to come in, but I said no-I feel that sometimes it makes you have more hope when you go in. My temp dropped, that is a sign of m/c, right?

well, I can tell you at the beginning of my pregnancy I had very little bleeding when I wiped, and it scared me. But I continued on with the pregnancy fine until 20 weeks.  The doc told me bleeding does not always mean micarriage.  I know that if you have had intercourse or pap lately, the doc said anything that touches your cervix can cause for little bleeding.  Brownish color means old blood I think.  I would keep and eye on it, but give your nurse or doc a call and let them know.  I know when I told my doctor I had some blood and cramps they called me in that day.  How far along are you?  good luck with everything and i will pray for you!!!

I just experienced my second miscarriage, I think, slight bleeding-only when I wipe and very little cramping-The nurse said to come in yesterday, but I didn't want to go through it again. My temps dropped alot today. Is this a sign also? The nurse acted like she didn't know what I was talking about. What should my next step be? I am building a house, working, and trying to finish my graduate school. Could this be a factor?
