Miscarriage

First of all, let me say, Sorry girls, for not signing on in soooo long, I just got fed up with the whole infert. thing, and my hubby and I stopped trying, well, low and behold, I got preggo, but it ended in miscarriage at 9w2d with a fetal age of 7w5d. We were pretty upset, and didn't take it well, as I am sure you all already knew, 2 yrs of trying came down to this, I finally got preggo, and lost it!! I had a d&c July 3, 2007, and I was wondering, when should I have a period?? My doc said 3w, but I am starting to wonder if it's coming!! Is it possible to get preggo again b4 that next period, because I am expeariancing some of the symptoms that I felt VERY early in the last pregnancy, but I don't want to test, for fear of the result, I am afraid of a BFN, because of the disappointment, and afraid of a BFP, becuase I am TERRIFIED that this will happen again!! I also wanted to ask, what are the chances (I know there is no way to really know, just wanting an educated guess!) that I will miscarry if I get preggo again????  Thanks Girls, as always, when I need you all, you are only a mouse click away!!

I think you could very well be preggo. I had a m/c on July 19th and 6 days later my numbers were back to 2. I believe you count your m/c as an AF and that you should ovulate about 2 weeks later. That is what I'm grasping at right now. I sure do wish you the best of luck, I would test!

I am so sorry. It seems that todays posts are all bad news. It is so painful and hard to handle sometimes.  I mc in Jan at 12 wks and had the d&c. My hcg took 2wks to get back to 0, then I o'd a week later. Af showed 2 wks after o. There are many women on the maternal forum that are pg and didn't wait for af. Most got pg 2-3wks after d&c or mc and a happy note, most are carrying the babies just fine.

To add to the above, I wanted to say that my Dr. said that I m/c because my prog. levels were too low, and we didn't catch it in time!! I don't know if that will maybe give you guys any insite to help answer some of the questions that I asked!! Thanks again to all!!

I'm sorry you had to go through this...I've had 2 m/c and they're very hard to deal with.  Yes you can get prego right after a D&C...like two weeks after.  Not to scare you as it's not too common but my 2 m/c were back to back...devastating.   I'd say if you get pregnant again get on progesterone ASAP.  However, my RE claims that when progesterone levels are low it doesnt really cause a miscarriage...rather it's a sign that it's just a bad pregnancy..does that make sense?
