heartrate

Hi,I was wondering if anyone knows about fetal heart rates.   My  babies rate changed from 160.....which is was for most of the times i went to the doc.(last time at 13 weeks) to 140 at about 15 1/2 weeks.  The doc said its normal....that the rate changes as the baby develops......has anyome heard this.   I though maybe it would change but not until about 20 weeks.  Does anyone know about this.  I am just apways parinois even though she said it was normal.
Thanks

It is normal. It also various depending on babies position and activity level.  Just like when you sleep and your heartrate drops, same for baby.  Don't worry.....  your baby is fine.
