Progesterone Level

the first time I went on Clomid (50mg), the doc took my progesterone level and it was extremely low- 0.57.  I am just completing my 2nd round of Clomid (100mg) and my progesterone is 3.16.  So- nice little increase but I heard they are looking for at least 5.0.  I don't meet with my doc for another week!  Here is the other thing, I took a pregnancy test last weekend- I know, I know- way to early to test but I did it and I got an extremely faint positive.  So, I am going to take another one on Sunday.  Anyone know anything about progesterone levels?

My doctors (except my 1st one) have all said that on Clomid your progesterone needs to be over 15 to be considered adequate.  If no meds, then over 10.  My 1st dr., however, said anything over 3 indicated ovulation at some degree so it was possible to get preggo.

I was told that over 3 indicates ovulation, but that it needs to be over 10 to sustain an embryo that implants for any length of time.......

Wow- that is depressing! I kind of thought so.  I started taking Vitamin B6 today to maybe help but I doubt it would.  What stinks is I can't see my doc until April 30th- he is on vacation all next week.
