I love the new name!!! I didn't get my bloodwork today because I was too tired to get up early enough. My RE's office only does blood for IVF patients between 7am -7:30am and I couldn't get out of bed. The good thing is they are there every morning 7 days a week so I can go in whenever I want. My last beta was about 61000.

That is a big number.  This was just my my third one.  The ultrasound will tell.  I am anxious to know.  My clinic does Betas that early also.  It is convenient for me before work.  I am really tired this evening, I am hoping my little munchkin will go to bed early so I can to.

How are you feeling lately? Tired and/or nauseous? I can barely keep my eyes open right now and it is only 1:17 p.m.! I am definitely going to bed when I get home.

I am more tired than anything.  I was nauseous yesterday and Monday but I usually only get nauseous when I wait to long to eat. I get sleepy about 3 times during the day. One of my coworkers is walking with me 15min twice a day and after each walk I'm pumped. The need to sleep just goes away. I think it's the endorphins. I am trying to be in bed by 8 tonight.

Hi Ladies!

I had my first visit with my ob today and everything went well. We heard one heartbeat, which was 160 beats and couldn't get the other, which is common when using the Doppler and especially at only 10 weeks. I guess when the babies are so small, it can be hard to hear both separately but at any rate, my uterus is at the size it should be for twins. I am just so happy we were able to actually hear the heartbeat! We will have an u/s at our next appointment at 14 weeks. I am measuring like I am about 14 weeks so about 4 weeks more for twins at this stage. I didn't look at the scale so I don't know how much weight I gained.

Well that is it for now. I hope audrie and sarbear find the post. I mentioned on the other post that they can always go to our profiles and look at our posts to find the new link so hopefully that will help.

Good night : )

I finally got out of bed early enough this morning to do bloodwork. My Beta is 127,099 and my progesterone is 82. My exam is tomorrow and I plan to ask about my beta numbers. I thought they were supposed to double or almost double every two days. My numbers don't seem to be doing that but my RE keeps telling me that I am doing fine.

How is everyone else's numbers looking?

I found the post.  It has a good name.  Ihavent had a beta in a few weeks.  My nurse said they just go by ultra sound now.  I have my firt appointment with an ob on Tuesday.  I am still on bed rest but am not bleeding anymore.  They took me off those inserts, I think they were irritating me.  Well everyone seems to be doing good.  I will keep you all posted.

Hi ladies,
I am glad you all found the post.  I am doing good.  Just anxious about my U/S on the 15th.  Just want to make sure everything is going well as all of us do other then that I am ok.  Tired, a little nauseous, and bloated but I am perfectly ok with that.

Trudi:  I am so glad to hear about your appt.  That is wonderful and glad everything is right on.  How are you feeling?

Hopefultobeblessed:  Those seem like awesome numbers to me.  Let me know how your appt goes.

Audrie:  I am so glad you are doing good.  I have been thinking about you.  Please let me know how you are doing.  I think about you often.  Everything will be great.

Well I am going to try to go to bed early.  Good Night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey! Thanks Trudi for mentioning how to get to the new post! That was easy!

Audrie- I'm so glad to hear that you are not bleeding anymore and that they figured out what the cause was!  Take it easy girl!

I am feeling great so far. Just tired at nighttime, by about 7:30 or so.
Had a second beta this morning. Numbers came back looking good-- up to 626 from 332. Nurse said everything looks great. (just under double, but still good).
I don't think I have any more blood tests, but need to schedule my first ob u/s (still with fertility place) for 2 weeks from now. I'm so excited.  Do you think this is when I will find out how many babies? We transfered 2 so it could be twins.  I am happy with either (of course!)!
Thanks for the new post! I am happy to be one of those 5! At one point I thought I was doomed because I was the last one and everyone else was preggo already! :( Glad that is not the way it turned out!

Have a restful night everyone! :)

Hopeful: Hcg numbers cap off at a certain point. Your numbers look really good. How many weeks are you. I read on another website, once you get to about 8weeks they start to balance out, because the placenta has taken over almost completely. You will be fine.

If that's true then that might be what it is. I am about 8 and a half weeks. Thanks for the info!

Hi! Ascott is right. The placenta takes over and the HCG levels will decline a little and then level off. Your progesterone will continue to go up throughout your pregnancy. Like Audrie, I haven't had a beta since before my first ultrasound so I only have my progesterone levels, which 2 weeks ago was 27 and I will get another one on Monday.

Christi: Thanks for posting. We all feel extremely fortunate and have really reached out to each other through the stages. I am so happy I found the post from the beginning. I had a failed IVF cycle before this one and it was so fun to have all of us get BFPs and beat the odds.

Aleks: How are you feeling? I am excited for you u/s and to see how many are in there : )

Audrie: I hope you are doing well and am happy to hear that you are off the inserts that were making you irritated. Are you feeling better now?

sarbear11: Your numbers are fantastic! They are very similar to mine and actually higher. It is very possible that you may be having twins : ) Wouldn't that be something, at least three of us out of five having twins? Alex might be right there with you too!

hopefultobeblessed: I have been reading my books and love them so far. The recipes in the When You're Expectin Twins... look pretty good. I might make something this weekend.

Pregnancy speaking, I am feeling really good. My nausea is only really in the morning now and I think it is going away. I am counting down the days until I am out of the 1st trimester (19 days). Me and my dd both have colds right now so once we are done with dinner, we are in bed relaxing by 7:00 each night. I think it will be over in a couple of days.

Have a great day!

Good morning everyone!  I was so tired last night I was ready to go to sleep around 7:00pm.  I am more tired more often,  My nip____ are sore and every now and agian I am a little nauseous.  Some of my more fitted clothes no longer fit.  With my first pregnancy I didn't really start wearing or needing to wear maternoty clothes until around 4 months.  I just feel bloated especially after I eat.  I am also anxious to have the ultrasound since I won't have anymore BETAS.  My doctor said I don't need anymore until I go back to the OBGYN.  I want one every other day.  I know that is silly.  I guess it is a way of letting me know things are ok.  He said based on the numbers I am doing great.  Still nervous.

Trudi:  I am glad you are feeling good and I hope you guys shake that nasty cold.  The season is going to start where colds are all over the place.

Audrie:  I am glad they took you off the inserts to I read that they can definitely irritate that area.  How are you feeling?  Are you still on bed rest?

Sarbear:  Your U/S is only a few days after mine.  That will be fun.  Can't wait to see :)

Hopefultobeblessed:  How are you doing?  Hope you are feeling well.

Well I have a busy weekend and week coming up.  My hubby's 40th Birthday is Friday and we are having a party for him next Saturday.  So I have allot of preperation to do.  I will talk to you all soon.

Hugs to all,
Aleks

I had anther ultrasound and exam yesterday. Everything is progressing wonderfully. We actually saw baby A move!! It was so cool! The heartbeats were 178(baby A) and 175. I should get my beta results later this afternoon. Both babies are measuring 8wks 1day and are 17mm long. I'm still having a little bit of trouble with finding foods that I like to eat that don't make me feel sick. My RE is concerned about the weight I have lost and wants me to really make a strong effort to find things to eat. Any ideas would be greatly welcomed.

Sarbear11: How was your 1st week back? How are you feeling?

Lexi:I agree with the beta's. I really like the idea that my RE does it twice a week just to be sure that everything is going well. Maybe you can talk them into doing it anyway. But I'm sure you are doing great. Your numbers are so strong! Also, the party preparations should keep you busy. I can't wait to find out if you have more than one in there!!

tbeards: Sorry that you and your little one are sick. Can you take anything? I'm glad you are able to rest.

audrie: How are you? Are you still on bedrest.

hey gals! I am doing pretty well. I am not feeling sick at all yet (and hopefully it will not come!).  I am just tired, all day long and my bbs are soooooooooooo sore. More sore than they were on just the meds.  I have to put a blanket between them when I sleep so that they don't touch!!!! ahhhhh....

I am only scheduled to have those two beta tests that I already had....and no more until my u/s.  I wish I could have more like you guys!  But I am assuming by my symptoms that everything is still okay.  I am a little crampy every now and then too.

Audrie: where are you????????????????? we want to see if you are off bed rest yet!

Lexi: how many weeks are you? I will be 5 weeks on Tuesday.

Well, I am finally feeling better and of course it is after the weekend is over : ( I felt so horrible on Saturday and then Sunday was actually even worse. Since I had a stuffy head, I didn't think I could take anything but found on my ob/gyn's website a list of medicine ok for pregnancy and plain Sudafed was on the list. It only worked a little and only for an hour. I finally just took Tylenol and it actually worked like a miracle on my sinus headache. My ob also said Dramamine is ok to take when you have insomnia (better than Tylenol PM he said) so I took a couple last night to finally get some rest.

sarbear: That's too bad about your bbs but always a good sign. Can you use a heating pad set on low? Also, as I mentioned above, maybe Tylenol would help...

hopefultobeblessed: sounds really weird but Mexican food is the only thing that is appetizing to me thus far : ) You would think with the nausea that would be the last thing one would want to eat. There is something about those beans and carbs that make me feel good. Soup is also on the top of my list.

Aleks: I hope you are taking some nice naps along with your busy schedule : ) Party planning can take it's toll but what a nice gift to give him! One more week until your u/s!

Audrie: I am getting worried about you and hope that all is well.

Talk soon,

Trudi

Hi, I am glad to hear you guys are doing well.  I am doing good.  I am trying to eat smaller meals because it seems like I was getting nauseous after meals.  Eating smaller ones helps.  I need to drink more water.  Today I am feeling more bloated but other then that I feel pretty good, just tired.

Sarbear:  I only had 3 BETAS and as long as my number were really good then the next step is the U/S which is on the 15th.  It would have been this week but the RE is not in the office this week.  I am very excited.  My last BETA was 10,000 so they were extremely happy with that number.  I think I am about 6 weeks and 2 days.

Audrie:  I am so glad that I was able to hear from you.  We were all worried about our friend.  Glad to hear that you are doing good and are off those darn suppositories.

Trudi:  September is a big month for us all.  My hubby's birthday, my birthday and my daughters.  Always a busy month.  I am not doing anything for mine.  Rachel is having a birthday at Gymboree for some of her playmates.

Well I am off to get some things done.

Hugs to all,
Aleks
