Novarel question

Hi-
I am going for my retrieval on Saturday and have to take my Novarel tonight (1am).  I am so scared.  
Is it has bad has it seems?  Does it hurt?

My DH gave me my trigger shot on Wednesday night, it wasnt THAT bad!! It hurt worse coming out than it did going in!! LOL  The soreness is almost gone today! Good Luck! :)

My clinic doesn't do any IM shots everything is sub-q. I am so sorry you have to do that; but as we all know, the outcome is what matters not the pain of getting there.

The novarel isnt bad at all! i was so scared because the needle looked so big but i barley even felt it go in!
i just woke up the next day so sore like i just got beat up.. lol

Its not bad at all, its actually hard to even feel the needle go in (and i had to give it to myself a couple of times!) but the next morning my bum is sore like a strained or bruised muscle, not bad though.. but it works great!!! good luck with your retrival and the shot! : )

I've had it a couple of times now - got DH to give it to me. It really isn't bad, make sure you stay relaxed, and get him to gently massage the area afterwards. I felt a little ache afterwards, but nothing that bothered me. You don't really feel it once the needle has pierced the skin, just like having blood drawn.
