I think that depends on the severity of the OHSS. If it's bad, the embryos are usually frozen for a FET the following month.
I had a fresh transfer back in December. I got OHSS and my doctors still went ahead with the transfer, but it was unsuccessful. So we froze the rest of the embryos we had left. One of them survived the thaw and we had our FET on 2/23. Now I'm five weeks pregnant! I don't think it worked the first time because my body was going through so much with all the stim medications and then hyperstimming with the OHSS. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't have done the transfer during the cycle when I hypsterstimmed. But it's totally a personal choice.
