Doubt abiut Clomid

My doctor prescribed to have  Clomid in this cycle.Will this delay my ovulation.PLs help.I am having regular periods in every 28  days.

How much should I have Grape Juice as I am in 5th day od Clomid & 6 th day from my Period.I started drinking a lot of water

Clomid is known for drying up cm. But, it doesn't do that to everyone. It did not with me and there are some other posters that did not as well. If you don't want to take Robitussen DM, drinking grapefruit and/or pineapple juice are great natural ways to increase cm.

I took it cd2-6 also. I would definitely use opks to track o.

umm clomid will dry you up... but, you can take cough meds... to help with that are use preseed its best, most likey you will have a delayed ovulation... I have taken it off and on since 2003 from 50mgs to 100mgs and it never worked for me so far.. so I have quite taking it...from what I was told you would expert to Ovulate 5-7 days after the last pill.. may be longer depending on the person I suppose I never Ovulated at all...your doc told you to take it on 2-6cds so that would still put you at Ovulating around CD14.. I would use OPKS are a Fertlity monitor... Good luck..

Hi My doctor prescribed to take clomid from the 2nd day to 6th day after periods.I heard that clomid will decrrease the cervical mucus which is necessary in trasnporting the sperm.If I stopped clomid will cervical mucus increase.I am totaly confused ...pls help me

I o regularly on my own as well. I did several rounds of clomid to produce more follicles. I o'd several days earlier than my regular o date. I have heard several women o'ing later on it and many around their regular time. Clomid does many things for many different problems. If you are o'ing, but the egg is not large enough when released, clomid may help delay o. This would give the follicle more time to mature, thus increasing the odds of conception. It isn't so much about when you o, but rather the quality of the egg released. You may want to try opks to pinpoint o a little better. Knowing for sure when the time is right is a large part of conceiving sooner. If you try the day after o, it is already to late. HTH

Yes, more or less your ovulation will be delay and also your uterus lining could be thin.  It's happen to me and now i am off clomid.

make sure you have a long talk with your doctor about clomid.  it does have side effects especially the lining.  you have good eggs, good timing, but no lining, then the eggs can't implant.

Yeah I  am Trying to concieve for last 6 months.My Doctor suggested to take clomid for next two cycles.I think I used to Ovulate on 13-14 days.But so far we tried only from 13th day.

Yes, more than likely it will delay your ovulation. If you don't mind me asking, why are you on clomid? Are you trying to conceive naturally or does your doctor want to do a clomid challenge test??  I hope you don't ovulate too late!!
