Cervical Mucus ??

My LMP was 01/29/07.  I am not using any method regarding prediction of ovulation this month because I found I was stressing myself out since my miscarriage on 11/17/06.  Last month I had lots of EWCM and the OPK was positive (I used them last month).  Unfortunately, with my DH's schedule we were unable to bd.  So this month DH and I have bd'd every other day (or at least every 3 days) and I have not noticed any drastic changes in my CM.  When I looked back at my charts (previously I did keep charts regarding CM), I noticed some months I didn't have lots of EWCM, but my cycles were regular.  Does the amount of CM sometimes vary month to month?

Last month my cycle was my longest ever (44) with lots of EWCM.  I saw my physician and he felt my cycle was so long because of the stress of the holidays - the first holiday season since my dad passed away.  Could the fact that that cycle was so long contribute to lots of EWCM?

I don't know that the length of your corresponds with the amount of EWCM you may have, but I have noticed that the amount I have each month varies.  Last month I had a lot more than I did this month, and prior to that I had even more.

Of course if your taking any medication it could affect the CM in your system (i.e. clomid)

My CM varies by cycle.

A few cycles ago it was very noticable
the next month no noticable CM
last month minimal Cm for 1 day
this month noticable for 2 days
good luck

I found that taking Robitussin caugh and cold for dry coughs, chest congestion, stuffy noses helped thin out my CM. You could try another brand, but it has to have Guaifenesin in it...the Robitussin brand has 200mgs...just a suggestion.
