Ovulation Concerns

Hello been a long time since I have been on here.. Good to be back. Quick question if anyone has experienced this.  I had to take Provera to jump start my period. I had some medium spotting on 16th so I counted that as Day 1 of period as on a normal month thats what would happen, then started heavy bleeding on day 3 which is when I started the Fertility drug Femara.. Doc said I should of started the drug on the 19th.. Question is if I started the femara a day earlier (due to confused about what is considered day 1 spotting or bleeding) and she wants me to start Ovulation kit on day 10 (which would be this coming thursday 25th) would this mess up ovulation days? Anyone can relate
Thanks so much.. So Confused

I always count first full day of flow as day 1, but I understand if you have irregular cycles. Mine are irregular and I sometimes second guess my start dates. From what I've heard, different doctors want day 1 counted differently (spotting vs flow).

It would more than likely bring it forward, but all depends on how long they take to mature. she is correct on saying to start testing on day 10.. good luck
