Ovulation Tracker Chart, confused!

I was just wondering if someone could PLEASE help me understand this thing. Mind you this is my very first time doing this and I'm already not getting it. lol.  I didn't start taking my temps until a couple of days after ovulation ( I know I should've sooner but I didn't think about doing it at all) and I was just wondering what is "normal" as far as the temps go?   Mine look like they can't make up their mind if they want to go up or down. I know I've only been doing it for about 8 or 9 days now but they look as confused as I am. lol. I saw a chart on "anovulatory" and mine is starting to look that way. I guess I'm scared of this being my first month trying and it's already looking bad(well to me). I've tried to conceive for 6 yrs the old fashion way, no charts, no temps and no ovulation kits and got NOTHING so that's why I'm doing this now plus my fertility dr. wants me to do it.  I would really really appreciate any help.  Thank you so much! :)

You should go to your local pharmacy or Wal-Mart and purchase a basal body thermometer...they are used most when ttc...good luck & SSBD!!!

Thanks for the reply. I'm just using a regular digital thermometer. Figured it would be better than using the old fashion one. I started using the OPK this month and a couple of days later I thought " hmm i'll try charting my temps too". This is definitely more of a headache than I wanted lol.  I think i'm going to try it for 1 full cycle and see how it works. If it's still this confusing after that I'll probably just forget about it. lol. Thanks again! :)

Are you using a regular thermameter or an ovulation one. I heard that the ovulation one will be easer since the temp wont change that much. I dont know though. But your suppoesd to see the same temp and around the time of ovulation its suppsed to go up anywere from a half to a whole degree. I personaly gave up on taking my temps since it gave me a headache to deal with. Cus if it goes up for what ever reason you asume its cuz of ovulation. I found the kits alot better and way more accurate. Good luck.
