PRE-EXISTING COND/INSURANCE
My husband and I have recently opened our own store, and trying to find insurance plans, however I have been denied twice because of my infertility. They all ask for your records and I have been diganoised with unexplained fertility. With my last job my insurance covered EVERYTHING except the auctal IUI. I am waiting to start my next treatment ( 2nd IUI) but I need to be covered b/c after my first IUI, I had two cysts that had ruptured. Has anyone had to get insurance plans for self employment? This is driving me crazy and I guess worst case I can always go back to my last job so I can be covered. But its so stressful to work that much! Why are insurance companies so fishy with pre-existing conditions? I really dont understand. If two companys already denied me how am I suppose to get insurance? thanks for any input
Anthem is an insurance company, but maybe only in CT? Not sure. That is who I got it from, $400 a month, but still cheaper than IVF
I have ( had) BCBS, what is Anthem? I have the option for Cobra but only for 6 months and it is VERY expensive.
