Period After Miscarriage

Hello Everyone. Sorry I havent posted in awhile just been laying low.. I have a question I had a D&C last week (Sept. 12) and started bleed wednesday- Sept 10-Sept. 18) My normal period is due this week and I am assuming my body will be way off wack. Well I had started my period today, a bit of brown blood then now to pinkish red my periods are always lite. Is that nomal to have your period start on time? I called my doc and she said  thats ok some people will get lucky and not have one until the next month. But my fertility doc said she wanted me to have 2-good periods then we can try again.. Has this happened to anyone?

well good luck with everything! and keep me updated! Let me know how the genetic testing goes! i'm debating if we want to do that before going through with IVF, so we won't miscarry if we are lucky enough to get preg with IVF.. ahh.. so much to all of this isnt there!

Well no way it can be implanation spotting. My husband has no sperm what so ever so we have to use Donar Sperm. I know you mean you spend so much on trying to get pregnant and when you do get pregnant Its staying  pregnant. IUI's worked for me so we will see when I have a tru bllue period and go from there. Although I may be starting shortly just cause I always get sweats easily and no cramping at all just diaherra (TMI I know sorry) so maybe its coming. I go back on the 29th for a follow-up and see what happens from there and hopefully they will have my genetics testing back from the tissue they had scraped

uhh.. well there's always the chance it could be implantation spotting : )     that or it just takes a while to get things back in order, which i learned the hard way, since we weren't patient and proceeded right afterwards with more injectables..we got preg with IUI and currently on our last IUI (2nd once since mc, but 5th total) before heading to IVF! so scared about the IVF process! its such an emotional, financial investment esp if it doens't work! GOOD LUCK! keep me updated!

Thanks for the support I know my friend had a D&C and she was suppose to wait like 2-months but she waited a month and had a good pregnancy. Well we have to use Donar sperm my husband doesnt have any sperm so that makes it more complicated and I am so afraid of  the IUI's as they are painful to me but not overbearing. Instead of waiting until Dec like we planned maybe push it up a month. I will call my fertility doctor more towards the next period.. Thanks for the advice helps so much

so sorry to hear you had to go through this!   i had a natural mc.. and my period returned on time , about 30 days later... our RE said we could start ttc ater one period.. so we started injectables then.. but when i look back we should have waited another month,, it was a total bust becuase everything was still out of whack.. GOOD LUCK with everything my thoughts and prayers go out to you!
