I dont know about suppositories vs the injections. But I thought I would comment. I was on the injections. And I honestly thought it would hurt much more than it did. So I thought maybe what I did if differnt from you would help. I layed on my side with the injection side leg pulled towards me my knee's were touching . Then I closed my eyes(mental really), and wouldnt let my DB tell me when he was doing it, the trick is they have to be fast like shooting darts, then pull out just as fast. When it was pulled out we put a gauze over it then pulled out. Then I massaged it and applied a heating pad, for about 5-10 mins. Then I got up and walked around still massging for about another 5-10 mins. Best of luck to you.

I used pio shots in my previous cycles which ended in a m/c (not related to the progesterone) anyway im 6 weeks pregnant using the vaginal suppositories and my progesterone level is at 58, which is great! so far so good.

I honestly think it's the preference of the RE.  My last RE told me that their success rates "went throught the roof" when they started using the progesterone pills as suppositories.
My new RE says he doesn't think it makes a difference which you use, so of course I picked the pills as suppositories again.   I have known people that have gotten pregnant and had successful pregnancies using both though.

Hi there, my RE told me that he has seen better results with the injections. There is a higher success rate with the injections at my office. Now I'm nervous b/c I have to take the shots for a month if I get my BFP on this cycle. YIKES!!!! :-)

My doctor told me to use an icepack and numb the area where your going to inject, then use a heat pack after and it should decrease the pain. You can also buy lidocaine oint that numbs the area too.

I hope this helps and keep thinking of why you are doing this and it should make it a little easier. (i hope) :-) SSBD to you.
