Please help me

I just came back from the Dr. office..I was told my FSH on the last IUI was 13 and now it`s only 9.He said it`s not good for my age 28 yrs old and my ovarians are older than my age:(
..And I possible can have an early menopause:( Is that really true,or it's just me don`t want to belive it..I ask him, does it means my chances of getting pregnant are very low..He said indirectly ..That if my ovarians are older they may produce bad eggs..
Please let me know anything you have to say about theses numbers, I am feeling so down and I need more answers.

Thank you so much.

My fsh on day 3 was always between 9-11 and I responded extremely well to very minimal meds.  And, ended up preggo with twins. After four months of fertility treatments!  Don't lose hope!

Whenever I'm in the RE office, I'm always a little surprised by what he says so I don't process the info right away and I don't think of questions until I leave the office. I did a little research and found the following website that talks about FSH levels: http://www.advancedfertility.com/day3fsh.htm. Lower is better. there is a table at the bottom that says FSH on day 3 < 10 is "Reassuring level. Expect a good response to ovarian stimulation". One of my friends had FSH levels that bounced from normal to abnormal. She had 3 IVF procedures and 2 of them were successful - 1 m\c and now she is 4 mos pregnant. Stay positive! Good luck!

First of all, the lower the FSH the better.  So going from 13 to 9 is a positive thing.  Yes, I agree with LisaRG..get them to check your AMH, which is a more accurate reading.  It may be ok and all will be fine.  All the best.

I dont think 8 is a bad number foe FSH.  Have them check your AMH number.  Thats more accurate.
good luck.
