Positive OPK for ten days and counting

Hi everyone,

My husband and I are ttc and I've just started temping and tracking my ovulation for about a month and a half. Last month I had one positive opk and saw my temp spike until I got my period. AF was from 6/20 to 6/24. Today I had my tenth positive opk, but I have yet to see my temp spike. I took hpt yesterday and it was negative. Does anyone know what this could be?

If you don't get AF and are still testing positive on your OPK's I would go see your Dr. I find that very odd. There are some women who just don't get positive pregnancy tests for some reason.

Thanks amy and naan. I took another hpt two days ago, it was negative. Today is the 16th day in a row that I've had a very clear positive opk. I switched brands, too. I'm using the First Response now. AF is due in a few more days, so I'm trying to wait until then to take another hpt. My temp yesterday morning was just barely up, and today it was up a little bit more. I'm hoping that's a good sign. Hubby and I have been babydancing almost everyday just in case. I'm a little nervous that something might be wrong though. Keeping my fingers crossed for a positive hpt this weekend.

Oh ok sorry, I've never used those so I'm not entirely sure. I wouldn't be worried, maybe you have conceived but when you took the test the other day it was too early, maybe test again in a week if your period hasnt started

I took a hpt four or five days ago and it was negative. I'm using the ClearBlue digital opks, and they are all smiley faces. I had negatives after my last cycle until day 8. Today is day 20 and I've had the 12th positive opk in a row now with no rise in temp. Should I be worried?

Are they true positive's? the 2nd line is definitely darker than the first line?  opk is only a true positive when the 2nd line is darker. Its common to get 2 lines on an opk as its detecting the rise in lh hormone, as the line colour strengthens so is the lh hormone.

Is it possible you're pregnant? OPK's can stay positive during pregnancy.
