Post IVF Transfer Symptoms
Hi ladies,
I'm going nuts because the symptoms I'm feeling can either be my period coming, or early pregnancy. I had my 3 day embryo transfer this past monday 2/4 - so it's been 5 days since then. I'm taking progesterone shots, 1cc twice a day, so I don't know if that would prevent AF from coming (including the symptoms of AF) or not. I'm extra tired, my face is breaking out a bit, have some bloating, crampy type feelings in abdomen and lower back, and boobs a little sore and a bit larger. It's a shame that period and pregnancy signs can be identical! Does anyone know if the progesterone shots prevent AF, and AF symptoms?

Who ever thougth we would want zits and barfing LOL! :-)
My pregesterone came back low and it looks like I am having an allergic reaction to the meds so they are goign to change me. I should hear back to night. I actually would just prefer the shots, it wokred last time. I am still having dry heaves and nausea, my mouth is always filled with saliva, and my breasts are really tender but not bigger yet.
Are you going to do a HPT for V-DAy or wait until Friday? I also go tthe OK to be tested HCG on Friday, the same as you and Mollie, :-) How amazing would it be if we have 3 BFP!!!!!!!

No nauseau. But I didn't have any nausea when I was pregnant before. My biggest symptom (before the positive HPT test) was larger boobs, I don't remember if they were sore or not.
Thanks for the info about what your doc told you about the progesterone. So if the shots suppress AF, I wonder if by suppressing it AF symptoms would also be suppressed. In any case, I'll know where we stand on Friday. It can't come soon enough for sure... but I also hope for more symtpoms in the meantime....
You get your hormone levels checked tomorrow right. Hope they are good!

The Progesterone is supposed to suppress AF. When I had my loss they told me to stop taking the meds and wait for AF to come. That as long as I was taking the meds, I would not get AF. Unfortunately early preg signs are similar to AF, and yes pregesterone can make you boobs tender. But the fatigue and acne are great!!!! Any nausea, how did you feel last time when you got preggers?
