Your Pregnancy week by week 6th edition by Glade Curtis.I like this book much better than what to expect when youre expecting. It was recommended by a few people I know.
Mayo clinic is good . Try one , I got free from insurance company.
I agree w/Sue. I got "What to expect when you're expecting". There is a lot of good info in there. But, there is a lot of misleading info as well. They make you think every thing you eat will cause either a stupid child or a mc.
There's a book by Johnson & Johnson I thnk it's called Mother and Baby. I like it a lot better than What to Expect When your Expecting. It shows your pregnancy progressing every 4 weeks starting at 6 weeks I believe. It also explains about childbirth and what your body is going through at every stage. It also discusses breastfeeding, diaper changing, childhood illnesses, first aid, CPR, childhood diseases ect. It has a lot of information in it - I really like it :)
Good Luck :)
"The Girlfriend's Guide To Pregnancy" is good. It covers a lot of stuff that your OB/docs may not talk to you about.
I've had people say they did not like "What to Expect When You're Expecting" because it scared them too much.
I also like the Penelope Leach book. I think it's called "You and Your Pregnancy," but I'm not sure. It's written in a very soothing and relaxing way and I really enjoyed reading it.
Hope this helps!
