I am 38 years old. I have 4 children already and had a tubal ligation and novasure. My tubal ligation was in 2007 and novasure was in 2009. I have had nothing but problems with my period since my tubal (hence the ablation).I was bleeding irregularly and very heavy. At one point I bled for almost 3 months very heavily, which is when my doctor and I decided to get my ablation. I continually had problems with my cycle after my ablation. I still got a period after two months of my ablation and with ultrasounds and blood tests I had done, it showed my estrogen levels were very high and my progesterone was low. I tried different birth controls and progesterone pills to help level things out and normalize my periods. I still bled in between cycles while on those things. Now that I am in a relationship with someone and we would like to have children in a few years, I started to visit a fertility specialist to find out what my options are. She tested some things and said that I have 9 follicles, and my lining was at a 0.5. She was very surprised to see this after having the procedures that I have had done. Recent tests showed my AMH is 0.3 and my FSH is 9.4. I would like to have more children one day, what can I do to help this. She recommended freezing some eggs. I don't know if that is the route I want to take. I would like to get a reversal and go natural. What is your input? Is there any luck with this. Can quitting smoking and taking DHEA help with my egg reserve? Could my hormone levels being so out of balance affect this? Help please!
