I'm So sorry that some men can be so insensitive and that you are going thru this! The health of the baby is important right now...not him....so try (i know it's easier said than done) to not worry every second about where he is, what he's doing or why he's doing it. Maybe he will come around and if not then he's probably not the kind of father you want to raise your child anyway. I'm sorry that you have another child that is now dealing w/ this too. How is he handling it? Was he a good father to him? Try to surround yourself w/ friends and keep yourself busy so it doesn't drive you out of your mind!
Did you live together? Has he moved out? Getting pg with someone you aren't married to or even living with is very risky. I'm sorry you are going through this..
well...still no contact...i'm sick of the **** tho....and i just can't believe it....i think i am in shock myself...
Complete shock.....
I mean, I have a son who I am raising on my own already. And now, this?
Paranoid Pattie: He didn't have a reason. He just said that it was over, and for me to forget about it.
What was the reason he claims he dumped you? I ask because I know sometimes men can go through a paranoid phase when they find out a child is on the way. I went through this when my first child, unplanned though. He didn't dump me but he started acting funny and kinda standoffish and I didn't realize it until later that he was just afraid. My hormones were running wild and I was fearing the worst but eventually he came around and we were together for 6 years. I ended up dumping him at the 6 year mark :-) But either way, I knew that I might have to raise the children on my own but I didn't worry about that. I don't care if you're single, married or whatever, but as a mother, you will always have to know that once you are pregnant, you may have a chance of having to do it on your own. So let the chips fall where they may and be there for your child and try not to stress yourself out about chasing him around and worrying about why he dumped you. I know it's easy to say and that would be horrible to have to go through a pregnancy without someone to share the joy but if it's causing you stress, it's not good.
So, try to wait for him to get over the initial shock and see if he comes around.
Good luck!!
This is really unfair.
I'm so sorry! We are here for you,
Miky
oh my god! dont worry about it. take it easy and don't stress it. my mom did it on her own with 3 of us.
