Why is it not happening!?!

My partner and I have been TTC for about the last 2 and a half years now, and still no luck!
I've been taking folic acid, eating healthily, watching my ovulation times etc etc but nothing seems to help!
Before we started TTC I had very regular, medium periods.Since we started TTC, my periods have still been regular, but sometimes have been very very heavy, very very painful, and with huge clots in it,could this be an early miscarriage?
My periods were never painful before we started TTC,now everytime I'm due on my period, it's agony, and so heavy!
I just don't know what else I can do!
Every month I think-this is the month, and every month it isn't!Please any advice would be great!
I'm running out of options!
Thanks

The painful periods possibly sounds like endometriosis....go to an RE!

I would see a RE.  My husband & I have been seeing an RE.  I just went through my first IVF procedure.  I transferred 2 embryos.  I m/c 1 & the other was tubal (which I am now on medication for so I can save my tube).  It could be something as simple as needing some more progesterone in the first few weeks of pregnancy.  With my m/c, I had a lot more cramping & bleeding with clots.  Sometimes your body does not produce the amount of progesterone you need to hold a pregnancy & in that case they would give you some medication & monitor you with bloodwork.  It's possible you could be getting pregnant & m/c very early.  They say a lot of women who are trying to get pregnant, do get pregnancy & m/c so early that they may not even know it unless you are being monitored closely (in an RE. ofc) with bloodwork.  Thanks & I hope everything works out for you.
