Progesterone Suppositories

Ok ladies, this is probably TMI, but I am not on day 6 of using the progesterone suppositories and I am getting a little irritated down under... if you know what I mean. Its all external, not internal, but I am beginning to get a little itchy! Maybe from the discharge of the suppository? Or could I be having a reaction? Anyone else have this problem with the suppository?  Any suggestions?

Yeah, I used that the next month after my bad response to the compound one (July '09) BUT I had to BEG my RE!  It probably was just me, but my CD21 on the endometrin supp's my prgesterone was barely an 8!  The LOWEST it had ever been!  & I had 2 follies, maybe 3 that O'd!  
Your right though, the endometrin was a breeze ;)

I agree, I had a hard time with the suppositories until I switched to Endometrin. I would highly recommend them if your doc will prescribe them. I felt so much less stress about having to use progesterone after I started using Endometrin. It's super easy, no mess, no irritation. It's easier than inserting a tampon ;)

Thanks- I am going to give another day or two and see if gets better, and if not or it gets worse I will definately call! Its a small price to pay if this works!

Oh yeah... the suppositories. Fun stuff. I too noticed a little irritation 'down there' but it went away after a few days. But that was just me.. you should talk to your doctor, could be something more serious than irritation!

The first time I used the compounded ag supp.'s it was HORRIBLE!  I was super sore, itchy, burning.....just bad!  The RE said, well then you need to do shots.  I convinced him the next time to do this other prog.  & it was fine.
I have no issues w/crinone, other than the MESS LOL  But this cycle I did use again the compound & was totally fine.  When we had intercourse I have to say I was burning inside for about 30 minutes after, but thats it.  I'm thinking it's cuz our cervix is senstive while on vag. supp.'s???
