Progesterone and shorter AF?

Hi Everyone,
I have a question, this is the 4th month Im taking progesterone right after O, before I didnt take it until I was preggo..
So Last month and this cycle I just had my AF was only 3 1/2 days long...which is not normal for me..I normally have a 5day cycle..
The 1st 2 days are heavy which is normal, and on day 3 it starts to ease up and I usually only have spotting on day 4 and barely anything on day 5, thats how my cycle usually is..
Now the 1st 2 days are the same but on day 3 its very light and day 4 and 5 nothing...I had my FSH and estradiol checked in march and all was good..
So could the progesterone Ive been on right after O for 4 months now be causing my shorter periods? Trust me Im not complaining if its shorter as long as its normal and not signaling anything wrong..lol
Has this happend to anyone else?

Well Lilly, I've also had really short periods - my last one lasted really only one day of a full flow.  My periods have always been short, no more than 3 or so days, even when I was young, but I do know that the fertility drugs can stuff up our hormones.  I have a friend on here who didn't get her period for three months after doing her first IVF cycle.  Don't worry too much about it, it could also be down to stress.  Take care!

my guess is no. progesterone is what holds off AF. it is released from the follicles when you ovulate. when they do IVF, the fluid and egg are both captured with the needle, so you have to take progesterone or else your period will start before implantation can occur. it might just be your age or other meds. what else have you taken? every since i took clomid (and that was only for 3 months and almost 2 years ago) i have had shorter periods.
