IVF Progesterone shots

ok, so I had my egg retrival this morning, transfer Friday.  Now I have been instructed to start the oil progesterone shots.  I was reading the leaflet that comes with the medication, and it basically says that there are no studies that show Progesterone oil decreases miscarriage, and it increases the chance of abnormalities.  Are those of you doing IVF taking your Progesterone shots?  With all the medication I'm on, I'll be amazed if I will ever have a healthy baby.  Feeling low...

If you don't take the progestrone, your little bean(s) will not stick... Because you are doing IVF, your body doesn't realize that it is pregnant and doesn't make its own progestrone... TAKE IT!!! :o)

P.S. My IVF DD is 14 months, and healthy and strong with no "abnormalities" - other than she has my temper :o)
