clomid question

Just a quick question...I took clomid this month days 5-9.  Today is day 16.  Last night I woke up several times very hot...like hot flashes.  Do the side effects with clomid stay around even after ovulation and you've stopped the medicine?  I took ovidril on Fri and I think I o'ed Sat.  My temps on Sat were 97.72 and today they were 98.14.  Sat. night I didn't sleep well either....I was just curious b/c I thought the side effects stopped after the pills were all gone.

Thanks girls...yeah...I was so hot!  I thought the hot flashes stopped but I guess not.  The good thing is my temps are going up so I guess I o'ed.  I was only on 50 mg of clomid so that is good.  I don't know how much ovidril they gave me though.  Mine said 250mcg and 0.05 ml...I see some people talk about 5,000 or 10,000...not sure what I got?  I'm hoping this is my month too.  My dh and I bd all weekend...so we'll see...
Good luck girls!

yeah, the hot flashes stay with you for at least the whole cycle.  i've taken 150 mg for 4 months!  also the ovidrel seemed to make the hot flashes even worse!  (not quite what you wanted to hear)  good luck to you---  i hope this is your month!

My side effects lasted through the following month, when I didn't even take the medicine.  Good luck to you!  I hope that this is your month ;)

My hot flashes stay until I start my period although they are a lot milder at the start of menses than at the time of ovulation
