Provera and constant bleeding
ME AND MY FIANCE ARE TRYING TO GET PREGNANT WITH OUR FIRST CHILD. I HAVE IRREGULAR PERIODS AND HAVENT HAD ONE SINCE JANUARY. MY DOCTOR PUT ME ON PROVERA AND I TOOK IT FOR 10 DAYS. I STARTED MY PERIOD ON JUNE 3 AND I AM STILL BLEEDING HEAVY WITH CRAMPS. IS THIS NORMAL? HOW LONG DID YOU GUYS BLEED IF YOU HAVE EVER TAKEN PROVERA. IVE NEVER HAD A PERIOD FOR 10 DAYS BUT I HAVE BLED FOR UP TO 4 MONTHS FROM OTHER COMPLICATIONS. I TALKED TO MY DOCTOR AND SHE SAID ITS NORMAL BECAUSE 4 MONTHS OF BLOOD WERE ON MY UTERINE LINING AND IT NEEDS TO SHED. IM WORRIED. HAS ANYONE ELSE BEEN THROUGH THIS?
Im taking the provera pills. I take BC to help regulate my periods for the next two months but I haven't stopped this period yet.
Yes I took one shot of depo and bled like crazy. My doc gave me birth control pills to take to control my bleeding I took them about three months and stopped bleeding
