Provera or prometrium??

I've had 3 miscarriages in the past and my boyfriend and I have den ttc for the last 6 months with no luck. My Obgyn diagnosed me with PCOS and then I did blood work on day 21 of my cycle and they said I didn't ovulate. She wants to start me on prometrium on day 21 of my next cycle. My periods are irregular and sometimes my cycles can be 40-50 days apart. Has anyone been on this medicAtion before? Does it help ovulate? I been reading up on it and I'm thinking maybe I need another doctor. We been ttc now for a total of 3 years and she still hasn't done much for me. I see a lot of people on clomid and metamorfin and I still haven't been giving any kind of meds to help me ovulate or conceive.

Look for a diff doc.  3 years and you hv gone no where.  Its time to go to a specialist to cut your time loss.  They will do a thorough check up.

I was on proveria for 3 months took I the first 10 days of the month. I was told it helps with ovulation. I was on it to regulate my periods. For me it is the 30th and I should have started my period in the last few weeks of this month.
