Question about follistim

I go in today for cd3 ultrasound and bloodwork.  I am supposed to start follistim injections tonight.  I am really nervous about the injections and going to the new RE.  I am sure they will make me feel welcome, it is just a change.
The serum came in a styrofoam container with an ice pack in it.  It says to refrigerate.  When dh was reading instructions last night, he said it needs to be at room temperature?  Does anyone have experience with this?

this is my second round of follistim.  If you put in the refrigerator and take it out and put it back.  i am not sure it's a good idea.   You take it out of refrigerator 30 minutes before your shot.  the best leave it on the refrigerator since this medicine cost alot.  just for safe side.

Is this your first time using it?  I am very nervous about the pen and doing it correctly.  The medicine costs so much darn money that I do not want to waste any!!!  I brought the medicine with me to work in the styrofoam and ice so that I could take it to my appointment.  I don't usually get all ancy about stuff like this.  I am just nervous.

I leave my follistim in the refrigerator.  30 mins before the shot i take it out .  You can leave the follistim at the room temperature but you have to use it within 90 days.  if you leave it in the refrigerator, it could last for 6 months.   Mostly we will use it all so either refrigerator or room temperature is fine.

Today is my CD6.  I did injected follistim on CD3 and CD5.  I will have 2 more injection on CD7, and CD9.

good luck to you with this cycle.  Hopefully follistim will give us a good result this cycle.

SSBD to you.
