RPL as infertility?

Having had three pregnancy losses in a row, I am now in the process of blood tests, etc. for recurring pregnancy loss (RPL).  I'm wondering if recurring pregnancy loss is a form of infertility?  So, say we were to next investigate IUI or IVF, do insurance companies view RPL as a diagnosis for infertility?

With my insurance company, it does not matter the disgnoisis, IUI and IVF are not covered no matter what. For my RPL blood tests the doctor used another diagnosis like excessive cramping or bleeding, something like that, just to avoid any questions from insurance company.

With infertility being defined as a couples inability to conceive within a year. I don't know if that would be considered an infertility issue or a pregnancy issue, since she has the ability to conceive. There are always gray areas.
