When I started using Clomid my luteal phase increased by almost a week. There are other ways to extend your LP; it's an easy problbem to solve. Talk to your ob since short LP can hinder implantation.
When I started using OPKs I realized that I was having a short luteal phase too (8-9 days) I started taking 100mg of B6 every night and now I have a luteal phase of 10-14 days!
Oh, OK! That might be perfect timing then...if you are starting a new cycle now. Will you be on clomid this month?
Ok well she is going to talk to me about that on my appt on 2/24
Hi Lori! If I were you, I would ask your doctor for a progesterone test after your next ovulation. Sometimes a low level can cause a short luteal phase. If it is a bit low, your doctor might prescribe a progesterone supplement, which usually helps extend your luteal phase.
Good luck!
Does anyone else have a short luteal phase?
