AM I PREGNANT

I was recently sick with a cold, and my doctor put me on an anti-biotic. I am also on birth control (YAZ). The doctor told me i would have to use another form of birth control since that anti biotic weakens the pill. I finished my period on Dec. 1 2007 and did not begin my new week of birth control.

My boyfriend and I have had unprotected sex multiple times this week, he has ejaculated inside me every time. I never have bleeding after my period, but after we had sex this week I went to the bathroom and when i wiped there was a faint bit of blood on the toilet paper. I have also had cramps in my ovaries. I am not sure what to think of this, cause I never bleed even a little after sex or my period. Could I be ovulating this soon after my period? And what are the chances I am pregnant?

I am 20 year old college student and I am just confused and scared. So I would love some advice!!

Thank you so much for the info. I am pretty sure I was ovulating when we had unprotected sex, I did notice (while not being sexually aroused) that I had a sticky mucous that like ...almost like rubberish. I know it sounds weird. I am pretty concerned that I am pregnant...just have a feeling. But I will definetly wait to take a pregnancy test, its just the not-knowing that is killing me! but thank you once again!

I was THINKING that MAYBE the bleeding you had last month, if it was light, MIGHT have been implantation bleeding, but you said that you hadnt seen your man in awhile, so you couldnt have been pregnant before hand.. and implantation bleeding is pretty light colored and lasts a one to 3 days I think.
When I was on b/c my pack ended on Saturday night, and I would have a period on Wednesday.
Be careful about the disharge thing. . ovulation creates natural cervical mucous that is NOT THE SAME thing as arousal wetness. . if you were truly ovulating.. you would be able to put your moucous between your finger and thumb, and it be able to stretch an inch or more without breaking.. try this when you are not sexually aroused, and try to get your fingers as far up you can... (also not to be gross, but we are girls here!)
Sperm can last UP TO 5 days inside a woman.. but it is probably more like 2 to 3.
You should take a pregnancy test 4 to 5 days AFTER you miss your period. Count 28 or so days from the start date of your last period, that is when you should start again... and if you havent gotten it within a couple of days from that date.. then take a test. Dont take it earlier than that, you could get very innaccruate responses. No, I dont think a blood test would show up this early, but Im not doc. Just be careful for the next couple weeks while you wait not to drink, do any drugs etc as the first trimester is the most crucial. Hope this all helps...

We had sex almost like everyday multiple times this week after my period. (we had not seen each other in a while before this).
My period started on November 28 and lasted until December 2. And my cycle was normal but was short for what I am used to. Normally I would have started that Sunday but I didnt start until Tuesday, I started birth control back in June and my periods were always pretty regular until recently when they have started to become later, and later. Now I dont start until Tuesday.

I did notice that yesterday I had a discharge that is like, similar to when I ovulate. Not to be gross, but I know we had sex during that time frame, How long can sperm last inside?

Typically you ovulate approx. 14 days after the first day of your last period, if your periods are regular.
I am calculating that if your period lasted 5 days.. you started approx. November the 27. Which puts your ovulation time around about tomorrow.(12/9) Sperm can live up to 5 days but more likely around 2-3 days!
How long was your period? When did it start to give me a better calculation? Was your cycle light or heavy???? Respond asap if you can.

Is it possible that maybe sex was a bit rough that night?
ALWAYS USE A CONDOM WHEN YOUR PILL MAY NOT BE FULLY EFFECTIVE!!

It is possible. Antibotics diminish the effectiveness of bcps. When going off the pill some women get pg right away, while others try and try. Every woman runs about 20% chance of conceiving when they have unprotected sex during o. I know this isn't what you want to hear, but yes, it is possible. I am not a believer in abortion. But, at your age and situation, maybe you should look into the morning after pill. I know there is a time limit as to how long after sex it can be taken. I wish you the best. I know you already figured it out, but be more careful in the future. The dr tells you the facts so you can avoid these situations.  Good luck!
