Can someone tell me why my post O temp is the exact same

My post O chart shows all the same temp. 98.1 is that strange or what? I just stays at that level.

I have TBI: alot of creamy, lotion like discharge.
Don't know what this means.

I'm 5 DPO today.

Thanks. My levels were very low in Sep when they said I have pcos.

I'm afraid the doctor will tell me to lose my weight. I really hope she does not say that. She was big before so she understands but I really don't want to lose a baby if I got pregnant.

Oh, that's good! I was just about to write and say I would check with your doctor first...LOL! Progesterone can help lengthen your luteal phase and also help with  sustaining a pregnancy if your levels are too low. Good luck on Monday!

I called my nurse that I only had 10 days after O last month than a period so she moved my appt up to the 8th so on Monday she is going to check me out and see if she wants to put me on progesterone after I O.

Does progesterone after O help you not lose a pregnancy.

I have progesterone pills from when I had to take them to get my period. Would you suggest I take them this cycle to help stay pregnant if I did get pregnant?

Hmmm! 10 days is kinda borderline. They say you need to have a luteal phase of 10 days or more to sustain a possible pregnancy, and if it's under, you may have problems getting pregnant. You're right at 10, though, so you might be OK.

Since you're already 5dpo this cycle, I would check to see how long it is this month. If it's still only 10 days, I would maybe check with your doctor. He or she might suggest a progesterone test, and prescribe a progesterone supplements if they find it necessary.

So I had only 10 days after ovulation last month do you think that is an issue? Am I not making enough progesterone?

Yeah, I originally thought you meant your temps before and after O were about the same, so that's why I suggested the progesterone test...but since you do have a clear rise, you probably don't need one. I pay out of pocket too, so I understand what you mean.

If you've been getting different temps at other times, I would think you're fine. I agree, though, that is a bit weird...but hey, at least you ovulated! And twice now, too! That's great!

Best of luck this month!

It works well. I woke up at 2 am and did the temp and it was 97.7 and at 5:30-5:45 when i normally test it came up at 98.1

This is so strange. If you look at last months it stayed the same for a few days too. Then went higher and stayed the same. Than went back to the first few days past O and stayed there for a few days.

I don't really want to have a progesterone test cause i have to pay out of pocket since my insurance dont start to Feb 1st.

I can't believe my doctor made me ovulate so quickly after telling me i have PCOS and that was causing my issues. She gave me metformin and the next month I Oed and I Oed again this time. I know I felt the Oing. It was on the left side both times. and I can feel cramps there now at 5 DPO, Strange!

Oh, sorry, I think I misunderstood. I just went to your site and looked at your chart, and you mean that all the post-O temps are the same (yet you still had a rise). Sorry about that! Well, that is a bit strange too :-) but at least you have a clear and sustained rise! I would probably check your thermometer to make sure it's working correctly. maybe just take your temps a couple of times during the day today to make sure you get different temps than you have been for the last few mornings.

:-)

That is very strange... Did you confirm ovulation with a sonogram? For me, temps in the 98-range are normal post-ovulation, while they're usually in the 97s before O. But everyone's different. You should be able to see a temp rise, though... I would call your doctor and see if they can do a progesterone test to make sure you ovulated. That's normally done about a week after O, so this would be a good time to test.

As for creamy/lotiony discharge, I get that too after O :-)

Best of luck!
