Success of IUI with male factor

Based on cost, my husband and I are 99% sure we're going to go with IUI next cycle.  So excited and nervous at the same time!

For the most part, my husband's semen analysis was good.  His counts were great, motility, etc. . . But. . . The last S/A he had done, it said 0 sperm morphology normal.  I've since put him on fertility blend for Men (not sure if this even works, but I've seen a few success stories out there) and my husband and I had an indepth conversation with our RE about the subjectivity of the morphology.  He basically said that no one knows how the morphology affects fertility.

I guess what I want to know, is, have any of you ladies went with IUI when there was a male factor?  Any success stories?

If you don't mind me asking. . . What male factor are you guys dealing with?

Our RE isn't sure what's up with my husband's semen.  A year ago, he had a perfect test, and now this year, his actual number count are even better, his motility is around 80%, but his morphology said 0% normal.  Tapered heads.  It just doesn't make sense! And the RE said of all the parameters in a S/A, morphology is the one they know the least about, including what this means for fertility.  Just frustrating.

I think I'm going to start IUI my next cycle, which should be early November. :-D

I'm doing my first IUI next month with male infertility. I know what you mean I'm am so nervous and excited at the same time too. Does your RE know why your DH's count changed like that? When are you going to be doing your IUI? Good luck :)
