Thank you- I love hearing success stories :)
Hubby was azoospermia (no-sperm) on our first IUI which happened to result in a pregnancy. Unfortunately, due to unforseen issues with me, it failed. BUT, we were able to conceive with little or no sperm, so there is some hope.
Putting what he has as close to the action as possible is the best/cheapest way to go about things until you want to try IVF. I would try IUI for at least 3 rounds before going another route. Make sure you don't have any unknown issues (my progesterone was extremely low due to a lack of corpus lueteum sp???) which we did not find out about until quite some time later.
Good luck to you!
Sorry, I don't have a low sperm count story for you, but wanted to wish you luck anyway.. it is very exciting and I hope it works out for you. My son was conceived with IUI but sperm count was normal.
Best of luck!!
My brother (low sperm count) and sister in law were successful on their 2nd IUI.
Good Luck!
