Successful pregnancy after low levels???

I am about 7weeks pregnant...been spotting for about 10days...not enough to get on my underwear though...it's just there when i go to bathroom.  Started out brown...and now it's red.  I finally got into my doctor and they did sonogram...found the baby and it's heartbeat was at 114.  I then spoke to my doctor and told her i was worried about the spotting so they were going to go ahead and do bloodwork to check levels.  She then told me she'd put a rush on it due to holiday weekend and that she was worried cause the baby heartbeat was way too low and that this was not good along with the spotting.  I get home and check...and everywhere i read it says baby heartbearts  for 7weeks should be from 90-115...so what the????  then they called me with results and tell me my progesterone is at 2,9 and hcg is at 10k. So they tell me miscarriage is inevitable....how can they say that when there is a heartbeat.  Has anyone else started out with this low of progesterone and hcg and still had successful pregnancy???  I called my old doctor and she gave me prescription for progesterone....i'm going back to her asap!

I am so sorry you are going thru this.  If your progesterone is 2.9 I have to say that is really low.  I am not sure about anything else though. Hang in there & go back to Dr again asap.
Stay strong..........

Is your progesterone at 2.9 (it says 2,9)?
When will you be able to see your old doctor?
Once you start progesterone, if you do miscarry, your body may not expel anything.  I was on progesterone when I miscarried but b/c I was on progesterone, nothing happened. I would not have known I miscarried except I was being monitored weekly w/ ultrasound and the dr saw that the baby's heart stopped beating.
So, you need to be followed after you start the progesterone.
Good luck. I hope everything works out
