TTC makes you crazy.
DH and I just had a hot bath (which I know kills sperm), before TTC. We have spent 3 years doing what is right, and so we just thought, "lets try something completely wrong", and that "maybe the hot water will just kill all the dumb sperm that have been causing us miscarriages and leave the good ones!". Completely unsubstantiated and crazy, but after all these years, we're just trying to find the humour! I'm just looking for some other funny stories about what you have done to try and beat the odds outside of all the things we know we are all supposed to do. Maybe we can have a laugh...
I like the idea of the old house... who knows it might work.
U have given me a few ideas just saying that. Maybe i should see if one of my college buddies will let us bd in the dorm, or maybe we should try his parents house or their bed...lol I dont know if i could do that one.
After 5 years of ttc and several mc U do what u have to do to make life fun. We have loved most of our ttc time. We never dreamed it would take this long.

rmmoye - that is awesome the crazy things you have tried! My infertility is secondary, and we concieved my son 10 years ago on the living room couch so we thought maybe that was lucky for us but not this time! We have also joked about sneaking back into our old house to BD there because we were successful there. TTC is making us crazy, but not that crazy!!! I hope you get your sticky BFP soon! In the meantime it sounds like you are having fun!
LOL!! I can tell u last month I broke all the rules. I took my allergy meds and head ache meds, i drank4 glasses of wine, we ate stake med rare,
We never did it because it is not worth either of our jobs but one girl suggested we get high.
We had sex every day for 8 days and two of those days we had sex 3 times. We figured they say every other day but what could every day several times a day hurt. Plus it is more fun for us!!
We have tried every position during sex just in case. This includes standing up... u know u hear of the drunk girl doing it in the bathroom stall while standing up and she gets pregnant so we figured why not.. maybe the sperm will have to work harder so it will be stronger so we will have a healthy pregnancy because the sperm would be really strong swimmers.
WE bought a nice 66 mustang in 2010, ( make a big purchase and u will get pregnant)
bought a small sail boat (,buy something fun and u will get pregnant)
traveled to several different places ( u get pregnant when on vacation because u are more relaxed) ... We did get pregnant for the first time in January of 2010 while in savannah, we planed the trip just to relax and try. It worked. But i mc at 12 wks with no warning. Since then we keep traveling and enjoying our selves and still no luck. Our last trip was to Peru in JUne. The traveling is fun and well worth it even if we dont get pregnant. Every one says since u just blew all of your money traveling and are broke it should happen. After 5+ years of traveling and several Mc, we just go with it and have fun. AT this point we say if it happens it happens
Dh and i have always wanted to adopted We thought we would have 4-5 then adopt 2+. We decided to just go ahead and adopt and figured that that would do it... well when we decided to adopt and actually looked and and met our boys we were 5 wks pregnant. We had known for a good week and still wanted our two little ones. I mc 10days later. since then we have not gotten past a + hpt...4 wks pregnant. That has been 1 1/2 years ago.
GL... maybe it wont take u as many years as it has taken us. WE are still trying I am trusting God for the right timing!!!
