TTC

This is my first month using Ovulation test strip. I have a 28 day cycle. So i started ovulation strip testing on CD10 which was Friday 4/18/14. This Sunday CD 12( 4/20/14) @3pm i got my first positive. So i tested again about 10 pm still positive. Monday CD13 (4/21/14) tested about 10am Ovulation test was negative. I'm trying to understand the surge V's fertility. My question is on Monday my CD13 after the surge is this my most fertile day?

Your surge is when you actually ovulate. Your fertile days are the 3-5 days leading to ovulation. This is because sperm can live instead after sex for up to 3-5 days, so if you have sex a few days before, they can be in there waiting on the egg. Only super strong sperm can generally live for 4-5 days, most only survive a max of 48-73 hours.

Ur fertile days are 5 before. Ovulation itself only really last 24 hours
