The battle that never ends! Looking for advice.

I have been actively trying to get pregnant for about 6 years now. My husband and I discovered something was wrong about the same time. I was sent to a see a specialist and we where told we had to do IVF. That was our only option. My biggest issue was there was not clear answers, they never went over my test results and just kept putting me off. My husband and I decided to to do a cycle with them, and had nothing but heart break. After that we really gave up, we felt very frustrated, and we also had a foster child go home. All this time we waited, and I really refused to see anyone for my issues. I just recently went and saw a new obgyn and was not given any more hope. She dismissed me and told me she was pretty sure I have endometriosis.. She can either give me Lupron, or I can go back to my fertility doctor and try and have a baby. When did the world of medicine become so heartless and hurtful? I do not want to be treated for something you do not know I have. I just need options and opinions on where and what to do next. If I can not get support from my doctors where can I get it?

Gotcha! I got several "hypothetical diagnosis" lol. The most drastic was the Adenomyosis diagnosis and she just said, oh the only cure is a full hysterectomy. Well I'm glad I didn't listen and did my research and found out I actually had "pituitary microadenoma" 7 years later of trying and three cycles of Clomid and HCG trigger shots I'm currently 25 weeks pregnant. Don't give up, all it takes is that ONE doc that'll listen to you. I may or may not have been overly pushy and I wouldn't take no for an answer ;-)

She was just very short. Not supportive and didn't seem to have time. She sent me home with a list of things to google instead of going over options. She said she assumes I have endo. She can treat me for it or I can go back to a specialist to get pregnant. I just want clear answers. I'm not going to get treated for something I don't know I have, and we are trying to get pregnant so it doesn't make sense to anyway.

How did the new OB dismiss you? Also, what tests did she do to come up with the endometriosis diagnosis? You can always go with a new OB and do your research, read reviews about the new OB... That's what I had to do.
