Tomorrow beta, 12/1/09, who is with me?

This is my 5th IVF for a first child.  
I'm going to have a beta tomorrow, 12.1.09.  Could not wait for one more day.  I don't have any symptoms including sore BB's
Please pray for me.

I have no idea.  My OB wants me to have beta this weekend and U/S next tuesday, now he changes the beta tonight, and U/S tomorrow.

With certain beta level I think he expects to see certain thing.  I guess it's still early to see much on U/S, they want to monitor closely on beta since I have M/C and etopic pg this early year.  If the sac can be found in uterus that means it's not etopic one.

How excited.  My OB wants me have 5th beta tonight and U/S tomorrow.  Could not wait just one more day to meet my baby.

Congratulation KimB19, yours is almost 7w, isn't it.  I'm going to have U/S next tuesday at 6 week, maybe it's still early to find the HB.

This morning, I have a major cramps and back pain last about 30 min then gone, it makes me so nervous.  God bless me.

We heard the heartbeat!  It was the most AMAZING sound I have ever, ever, ever heard!  Love at first listen!  Baby is small though, Dr was worried about that so we are just hoping for some great growth.  I have another sonogram next Wednesday (every week until I go to a "normal" OBGYN).  I am ready to have an appointment where I hear, "Everything looks perfect!"...

I am so happy for everyone I hope I am as lucky. The waiting is agony.  I spotted only one day (yesterday day 3) Today was totally normal...........Just a MAJOR HEADACHE today.

I'm going to have the 5th beta this weekend again.  I could not believe he gives me many betas, maybe I has M/C and etopic pg this early year.  I can not wait for U/S.

My 4th beta is 4 days from the third beta and it went up from 298 to 1871.  It's more than double again.  I'm so excited.
U/S is scheduled on 12/15/09 at 6 week.  I don't know what should to expect to see.

KimB19: how's excited for your 6 weeks U/S.  Hope to see HB soon.

Spotting doesnt always mean you are going to lose the baby. I bled from 7-17 weeks with my son whom I did IVF with.He is now a healthy 13 month old. As far as the numbers go I saw gestational sac and yolk sac at 5 weeks 3 days and a heart beat at 6 weeks 1 day with my son. I was told your beta has to be above 1500 for them to see anything at all.

I have actually been giving myself the progesterone shots. It's easier than it looks. My DH took one look at the size of the needle and almost passed out.  I'd rather take the shots than keep using the suppositories.  Those I find gross, but I guess they are what's helping everything progress along.

KimB19 -- that's awesome!! Congrats! I can't believe at 6 weeks in the baby is the size of a grain of rice. That's so amazing. I hope your MD printed a pic for you.

Kricket212 -- I actually started with my spotting and bleeding last week which was around 15 days post a 5 day transfer. I thought it was the stress of me being back to work and being on my feet, but as quickly as that started, it ended.  I've had no bleeding/spotting today. I'm so happy!

I just had my first spotting episode today 3 days post transfer...did yours start that early?  They just called me to increase progesterone also.  I hope my hubby can handle giving me those shots.  All along I have been going to the office but just cant see paying $25- everytime.

I guess all Doc's are different!  My Dr told me to stop worrying about my beta b/c it should be in the thousands by now (I'm quite neurotic - haha) and to relax.  They started doing the ultrasounds last week (right before 6 weeks) and will do them every week until I go to a "normal" OBGYN, which I believe is at 10-12 weeks.  They say my sac, and pointed out the little grain of rice, aka, Baby!  Tomorrow they hope to see the heartbeat.

I took another pregnancy test last night - just to make myself feel better, b/c I have NO symptoms and still have the occasional spotting.  I think my husband thinks I have lost it :)
