Took Progesterone, spotted OB said to start my 50 MG of clomid and now nothing.....

Hi all, I am new to this so please be patient with me. Well to start off i am 25 and i do have a 7 year old daughter who i conceived while i was on BC pills.... Eversince i had her i have had lots of issues, such as going for a full year of every month having AF for 3 weeks out if the month. Then after a year of that NOTHING.... Teied progesterone a few times but had to take 2 10 day cycles to get things going......Now my husband and i really want another child Habe not been using anything as far as BC goes for 6 years and finally my OB put me on 10mg of progesterone for 10 days to jump start my AF, well took them everyday the same time and nothing, i had a tinge of pink when i wiped on day 8 after taking the last pill, i waited the full 14 days as told then called my OB and he said well that little spotting can be used as AF and told me to start 50MG of clomid days 4-7, well i did that and now i am past the time i should have O'd and still nothing. I also Have PCOS i was just wondering if anyone else has had or has these problems and any advise would be greatly appretiated!!!!

Yes, you are suppose to wait till 1st day of full flow and count from that day. Im surprised that Provera doesn't make you start. Maybe she needs to up that dose or try something different. You might want to see an RE or fertility specialist if you have been off BC for 6 years and no pregnancy.

Well i have been tracking ovulation with temp and the ovulation sticks.....I still have not got my "full period" so i dont know whats going on....i am supposed to take a PG test the 31st if i havent gotten my period then call the Dr back, This is all just very frustrating and confusing, thnaks for any advice!

Hi.  I have PCOS and I took Clomid, but my cycles come on their own so I have never used progresterone. I think he should have made you wait until the first day of full flow before having you start the Clomid.  The spotting may not have been your period actually starting and that could be why nothing has happened as far as ovulating.  How have you been tracking ovulation?
