Traveling and TTC'ing

Is anyone else traveling while ttc'ing?  My work has me traveling quite a bit of late and I can't ttc.  I know it should be fine and that I should look at it as a month's break or time to relax.  But it's so depressing and frustrating.  I've known  that I wouldn't be able to ttc right now for months. But I guess I've been in denial. I thought that I would maybe, possibly, have my bfp by now.  But, of course, my first day away from home ~ AF greets me. AF's now gone and I'm frustrated that I can't start up again. (I'm here for three more weeks)  Not only do I try month after month - But then I've got to waste a few cycles while I'm away from dh.   I love my job (as much as it frustrates me at times) but it has me traveling so much and I worry that I'll never get my BFP. Is there anyone else going through this?  How do you deal with it?

Thanks Tina!  I know what you mean about the horribly long cycle. It took me longer than usual to O this last time.  Otherwise I might have gotten one more try in.  But that's horrible to finally get AF on you vacation! Yuck.  Thanks, I agree there is that wonderful 'miss you' bd'ing to look forward too. I'm feeling much better now and there is only 3 more weeks before I see dh again. Then I'm home at least two weeks before I go away for six weeks.  You are right though. Hopefully my body will chill and relax and it will be a wonderful blessing in disguise!  Thanks kindly!

Similar, but different, lol. Dh and I went to Hawaii, which was supposed to be o time. But, my body just couldn't let that happen. Instead, I had a horrifically long cycle and af got to join us on vacation! That witch! I figured it would be the perfect setting for conception. Oh, well...Yeah, it would be a lot harder if dh doesn't get to be with you. That is really tough. I know Paranoidpattie's dh travels a lot and that is not ideal when o is during apart time. But, think of all the great "missed you" bding you get to do when you get home! Sometimes absence can do wonders. Maybe a blessing in disguise?
