Trying for 1 1/2 years

Husband & I have been trying to have our first baby for 1 1/2 years. Have done tests on both, found really nothing wrong with me, he has low sperm motility. Have also been taking clomid for 3 months. Was wondering if anyone has had success with husband having low motility and doing iui.

We did our first iui almost 2 weeks ago. I had been having light cramps, swollen tender breasts, and had been feeling dizzy/lightheaded a couple days, but now feel nothing.  Have to wait 3 more days before doing a HPT. Wondering what anyone thinks this could mean

tell your husband wear boxer instead of underwear.  Let the air flows and also do not take hot shower or hot bath... it's will reduce the sperm.

I heard that before you have intercourse... let your husband drink Coke... it's might boot up the sperms.  It worked on my husband....

Thank you all for your replys. We are trying to stay positive, but it's very hard sometimes as I'm sure you all know.  I wasn't aware there was anything for them to treat husband with. What do they usually do?

Don't give up.... I am in the same boat as you are for many months.  My husband have good quality but the mobility is really bad.  The doctor even said 'those sperms are too lazy".. I tried to conceive since summer 07 and this month I got BFP...

I took Femera, Clomid, Menopur, all kind fertility medicine.  Tons of money for fertility drugs.  I got stress out and to the point I can't take it anymore... Finally april 09 I decided to take a break... no medicine and got a minor surgery.. (lapascopy)... Some how I got pregnant and didn't believe it...today is my 5 weeks 3 days.

I would think IVF w/ICSI would better your chances but I'm not a doctor either.  Are they treating your husband?

i am sorry your going through this. in my situation i have PCO but i was gevin clomid it was succesful. my docotor gave my husband vitamin E. he has also low sperm motility. i lost the baby at 5 months.
