Thank you for responding. I will make an appt with my Doctor.
Hi there!
The return of menstruation following childbirth varies person to person. There is a strong relationship between the amount of suckling and the contraceptive effect of lactation. Lactational amenorrhea is not a reliable method of preventing pregnancy and it does not affect chances of conceiving. You and your husband should consult an infertility expert. There can be many causes of secondary infertility which can be related to male or female. Stress; unhealthy lifestyle can affect the fertility of a couple. Uterine adhesions due to previous surgeries, blocked tubes, pelvic inflammatory diseases, PCOD, endometriosis all can affect female fertility. Male causes of infertility are advanced age, low sperm count etc. A complete physical examination, semen analysis of your male partner, tests like hysterosalpingography may be needed based on your physical examination findings. Do keep me posted.
Best wishes and regards!
