Trying to conceive with no luck

I am 23 and I have been trying to get pregnant for 3 months now and no luck. My period is 26-27 days long. It came October 18, 2009, November 16, 2009, December 12, 2009 and January 7, 2010 and I am expecting it around the 2 of February 2010. I checked my ovulating dates using a ovulating calendar but nothing has happened up to now. I have had sex at least 2 times a day for the past 2 and 1/2 weeks, so I guess I will see what happens. I however have a few facial hairs on my chin, but not sure if or why it would affect my chances of conceiving.

Couple years ago I did a ultrasound and my ovaries we normal with the average measurement, no problems were found.

you thinking of Polycystic ovary syndrome, which can affect fertility, and one of the symptoms can be facial hair, due to increased levels of testosterone, but look go and see you gp if you are concerned, but they are most likely not going to do anything unless you have been trying for a minimum of a year before getting referred to a fertility specialist, so good luck with you endeavour. and do what kricket said and go and buy a ovulation prediction kit, they can really be useful.

lol. sorry. saw something in another similar post where a lady saying she doesn't have from facial hair, so I assume that would play a part, I don't know, probably too much testosterone.

I am sorry you had no luck yet but have to say that you are still really young & it will happen.  It doesn't appear from what you have written that you have any medical problems. I would suggest buying the ovulation kit which is over the counter & it will tell you your fertile days just by peeing on a stick.  Wishing you lots of luck!!!

PS-  Why are you telling us about facial hairs on your chin??? Did I miss something?
